The DNA & Conception of SOW:

Sisters Overcoming and Winning (SOW) is a ministry, established on the biblical principles of love and faith.
​
SOW is the manifestation of a seed that God ordained and orchestrated within the promise of his appointed daughter, Shawon Shericka Turner James while she was yet – in her 16 year old mother’s womb. The seed had been incubating for 45 years by the time of delivery on March 26, 2018.
The labor was long and rigorous hence, necessary for a time such as this.

SOW is a safe community where women are showered with encouragement and empowerment daily. The ladies of SOW represent a plethora of victories, yielded from the pain, affliction, addiction, and disappointments of their pasts. The very circumstance assigned to assassinate them is trampled at the throat- in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
That which the adversary launches as evil; God has the capacity to command prosperous and victorious on your behalf!

MISSION:
The mission is to SOW into one another by way of - support, encouragement, empowerment, edification, evolvement, enlightenment and encountering transformation and manifestation. Our reach transcends race, religious traditions and geographical boundaries; as we charge every sister to win, in every area of life.
We speak life, truth, healing, deliverance, restoration, redemption and victory to one, and all.

S.O.W. is our acronym for good reason! We are an essential population of women who are on a journey to not only align but, raise the standard of the kingdom. We are assigned to overcome everything that has attempted to assassinate God’s purpose on for our life. United, we join - to declare “It Didn’t Kill Me”.

We’ve been chosen and set apart to sow into communities, businesses, families, ministries, endeavors, friends, this nation and most assuredly - one another... Intentionally!
